Automating Data Processing from SharePoint to Dataverse Using Power Automate

We designed and delivered a fully automated Power Automate data pipeline integrating SharePoint, Excel, and Microsoft Dataverse — eliminating every manual step in the extract, transform, and load process. The flow auto-triggers on every new Excel file upload to SharePoint, dynamically parses the correct columns, rows, and sheets based on predefined extraction logic, and maps all data accurately into the correct Dataverse tables while preserving all relational entity relationships. We developed a robust three-stage notification framework that tracks every process from launch to completion. To eliminate troubleshooting guesswork, our system delivers instant, deep diagnostics and run references for any failure. By integrating automated retry logic for transient errors, we’ve created a “self-healing” workflow that ensures peak performance with minimal human intervention.
