Warranty Process Automation
The project was focused on improving the new Warranty process and automate the whole Warranty process from Warranty request through completion of repair item.
Office365 tools used to automate the whole process including: Power automate, Microsoft Forms, Planner and Excel.

Project Background

1. Habitat for Humanity has been working on several Process Improvement Projects in the area of New Home Construction from Buyer Selection to new Home Construction and Post Occupancy Support
2. The current project is focused on improving the new home Warranty process.
3. The objective of this project is to automate the warranty process from warranty request thru completion of a repair item
4. The objective of this project is to use the Microsoft Project Suite of tools to automate the process including: excel. Forms, Planner and Power Automate

Project Scope

1. Update and Finalize the Automation process flow requirements
2. Build out the new process with the Microsoft 365 set of software tools
3. Provide Training for users how to use the new process
4. Provide appropriate documentation for the new process
* A Habitat Project Team of 3 people will be working with the Cal Poly Student(s)
