Privacy Policy for Audit and Inspection App

1. Data Collection

The App collects the following types of data when you use the Audit and Inspection App:

  • User Information: Name, email address, and role.

  • Audit & Inspection Data: Information entered by users during audits and inspections.

  • Metadata: Template Question, Template Answers, Roles, Sections, Log files, timestamps, and system-generated data to improve the user experience.

  • Uploaded Documents and Inspection Data: When you upload documents, images, or inspection data to the App, the files are securely stored in your Microsoft Dataverse instance within your Microsoft 365 tenant. Some documents may be accessible via links only if the user enables Anonymous Access for the template files.

The App uses uploaded documents, images, and other data solely to assist in auditing and inspection processes. All data is securely stored in your Microsoft Dataverse instance within your Microsoft 365 tenant. We do not have access to any of your data.

2. How App Use Your Data

The App collects data for the following purposes:

  • Providing and improving the Audit and Inspection App’s functionality.

  • Ensuring compliance with audit and inspection processes.

  • Securing and managing access controls.

  • Generating reports and insights.

  • Enhancing the user experience.

All data is securely stored in your Microsoft Dataverse instance within your Microsoft 365 tenant. We do not have access to any of your data.

3. Data Storage & Security

  • All data is securely stored in Microsoft Dataverse, which complies with Microsoft’s security and compliance standards.

  • No personal or sensitive information is shared with third parties without the user’s consent.

  • Data Retention: The App itself does not retain uploaded documents or user-provided data, all data and documents and reports exist solely within the cloud storage (Dataverse/Azure Blob Storage) in your Microsoft Tenant. Currently, no custom data retention policy is applied on the data, but it respects any Data Retention policy implemented in your Microsoft Power Platform Environment.

  • Security Measures: While the App processes your data, it implements Microsoft’s security measures and respective cloud storage protections to maintain the confidentiality and integrity of your information. Please refer to the privacy policy of your Microsoft Dataverse. If you have any concerns, you can ensure your privacy by not uploading sensitive or confidential information.

4. Data Sharing & Third-Party Services

  • The App does not share data with unauthorized third parties.

  • The App integrates with Microsoft Power Platform services, including Power Automate and can be used with Power BI, and SharePoint, to enhance functionality further.

  • Any third-party integrations will comply with applicable data protection regulations.

5. Rights & Data Control

System Admins in the Power Platform have the right to access, update, or delete any data.

6. Compliance & Regulations

  • The App complies with applicable data protection laws, including GDPR, CCPA, and Microsoft compliance policies.
